Consistency is Style

Choosing a style, a color palette and a theme for your decorating project or renovation is a very important part of the process and contributes to the overall success of the look you are trying to achieve. However, it is so important because the aim is to see your style through to the end of your project, but there are a number of little ways you can be let down by your home.
Before you point the finger, consider whether you have looked at every aspect of your home with regards to your new style. The success of your renovation and decoration is not about how much you spend or which brands and labels you buy, it is about being consistent – anywhere which doesn’t fit the style will stand out like a sore thumb.
So are the pet beds and dog house a neutral color to fade into the background? Are the tea towels in your new kitchen clashing with your carefully planned splashback?
